Wendy Houses

Treated pine is only the cladding on the outside of the Wendy house. It’s purpose is to keep the weather out, and not intended to provide any structural strength or rigidity. It is merely an attractive cladding for the underlying structure.

The strength and rigidity of a timber framed house comes from the foundations and the frame. Foundations can be either concrete slabs (permanent) or wooden pallet (non-permanent)- the former being more solid and rigid, but requiring stricter planning permission.

By using SABS as our minimum standards we ensure that all our Wooden Wendy houses are solidly built and will stand the test of time. We use quality timber in all areas of construction.
